Vivo V15 is finally official after undergoing so much speculation. The device was supposed to launch alongside its higher-end model which is the V15 Pro but it didn’t happen. The Vivo V15 Pro went official in India last week but the V15 has been made official in Malaysia and Thailand markets.
The Vivo V15 also has a pop-up selfie camera just like the Pro model but it’s powered by the MediaTek’s Helio P70 processor, not the Snapdragon 675 SoC which is available in the V15 Pro. Another major difference is the fingerprint scanner; while the V15 Pro has n in-display fingerprint scanner, the V15 has a traditional way that will perform the unlock duty and it’s mounted on the back.
The Vivo V15 is a dual SIM smartphone running the FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It features a 6.53-inch full HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display. The processor is paired with a massive 6GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage. It comes with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and there’s a triple lens camera set up at the back that has 12MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP sensor with an f/2.4 lens.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The price of the Vivo V15 in Thailand is THB 10,999 and it comes in Topaz Blue and Glamour Red color options. The availability in the Thailand market is yet to be announced, though. It’s listed in Malaysia but without any price and availability details.
