Huawei Y6 2019 with fingerprint sensor, 6.09-inch display goes official

We have been hearing a lot about the Huawei’s entry-level smartphone Huawei Y6 2019 where the phone’s battery specifications were revealed in FCC listing earlier in the year. The larger variant of the phone i.e. Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 at the end of January 2019 with a leather finish along with dewdrop display. Now, Huawei has launched non-pro version i.e. Huawei Y6 2019 officially.

Both the phones different in terms of specifications. Like different in RAM capacity and the availability of the fingerprint scanner are to name a few. The pro version offers a 3GB RAM while the currently launched non-pro variant has 2GB RAM but interestingly it offers a fingerprint scanner at the back as opposed to the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 that doesn’t have it at all.

Both of these phones offer Helio A22 SoC and boasts Android Pie out of the box that is based upon EMUI 9. Talking about the memory on board, both of these phones offer 32GB storage capacity which could be expanded up to 512 GB through microSD card. Talking about the display, Y6 2019 offers a display size of 6.09-inch HD+ and blocks the blue light that is harmful to the eyes.

Y6 2019 packs a 13MP camera on the rear side while an 8MP on the front and is fueled by 3,020 mAh battery capacity. Talking about the color options available, Y6 2019 comes in Midnight Black, Amber Brown and Sapphire Blue.

Generally we do see the fingerprint sensor in the Pro versions of phone. But in the case of Huawei Y6 2019, it's a bit surprising to see that standard version comes with a fingerprint sensor scanner, while the Pro version doesn't.
