Realme 3 goes official with P70 SoC and dual rear cameras at INR 8,999

Finally, the wait is over as the Oppo's subsidiary Realme wraps off the cover from the much awaited mid-range Realme 3. Last year Oppo announced a new sub-brand for the Indian market. Under this branding the company a number of budget-friendly smartphones with the best value for the money. All the phones went successful due to their aggressive pricing. Despite the fact, all the phones fall in the tight category of mid-range phones but still, Realme brand grew significantly in the last few months.

The Realme 3 is the company's first offering for 2019. The device is featuring a 6.2-inches dewdrop display with HD+ screen resolution. The display aspect ratio is 19:9. Being the pocket-friendly lineup the Realme 3 features a unibody polycarbonate design. So far we have seen the diamond cut finish on the Realme phones but that's not the case with the Realme 3. The Realme 3 comes with gradient finish which reflects different colors at different angles.

Under the hood, the MediaTek Octa-core Helio P70 chipset is powering the phone. The base model has 3GB RAM with 32GB storage whereas the top-tier model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It supports memory expansion up to 256GB via MicroSD. It comes with a dedicated slot for MicroSD and dual SIMs.

On the rear side, you will get dual cameras, the primary sensor is 13MP with f/1.8 aperture whereas the secondary sensor is a 2MP depth-sensing module. Up front the selfie snapper is 13MP. All the sensors are AI tuned, the best aspect of the new camera's setup is optimized to capture night shots. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie with ColorOS 6.0 skin over it. A 4,230mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on.

The device has 3.5mm headphone jack and Micro-USB port for connectivity. The fingerprint scanner is on the rear side. As far as the release is a concern the Realme 3 will be exclusively available from Flipkart on March 12th. The base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage will cost INR 8,999. The 4GB RAM model is slightly expensive at INR 10,999. In terms of colors options, the Realme 3 is available in three finishes including Black, Gradient Blue, and Dynamic Black.
