The Chinese giant Vivo is gearing to announce X27 smartphone on March 19th in China. The device is in leaks and rumors from past few weeks, recently the device appeared at the TENAA listing which reveals key hardware details. Today the company released a couple of teasers on Weibo which confirms the storage, RAM, battery and primary rear snapper of the X27.
The first teaser confirms the Vivo X27 will have 8GB RAM and 256GB native storage. The device lights will be kept on by a 4,000mAH battery. Although the teaser didn't spill beans regarding the charging setup. However, what we heard so far suggests the X27 will feature 22.5W fast charging. The teaser also hints the X27 will have a full front-facing display with minimal bezels around the display.
The second teaser highlights the camera prowess of X27. The teaser confirms triple cameras setup on the rear side and the primary sensor will be a 48MP sensor. At the moment it is still in the dark whether Vivo will be utilizing the Sony IMX586 sensor or Samsung's ISOCELL sensor. However, the chances are high Vivo will be opting Sony's sensor. Apart from a 48MP primary sensor, the teaser confirms the device will have a wide-angle sensor as the secondary module. To ensure great results in low-light scenarios the device will come with night view mode.
Recently a Vivo phone bearing model number V1829A/T clears TENAA certification, this device is expected to go official as X27. As per the listing, there will be two variants, the base model will have Snapdragon 675 SoC whereas the top of the line model comes with Snapdragon 710 SoC. Most likely this variant will have 8 Gigs of RAM and 256GB built-in storage.
The device features a 6.39-inches S AMOLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution. The display aspect ratio is 19.5:9. Due to bezel-less design, it will have pop-up selfie snapper of 16MP. The secondary sensor on the rear will be 13MP super-wide angle sensor and the third sensor will be a depth-sensing 5MP sensor. In terms of color options, the X27 will be available in Peacock Blue and Garlic Gold. Last but not least the base model is rumored to cost 3,198 Yuan ($476) whereas the top-tier variant will be slightly expensive at 3,598 Yuan ($536).
