Xiaomi's newly spun off Redmi brand is getting ready to announce the first flagship phone. The company GM reveals few details regarding the upcoming flagship but still, many details are in the dark. Although the Redmi flagship name isn't confirmed yet, the device is rumored to go official as Redmi Pro 2. Today an alleged hands-on video of Redmi flagships appears online which spills few beans regarding the design.
The alleged video shows the Redmi flagships features the latest punch-hole design. However, the punch hole is in the center of the display. On the rear side, you will get triple cameras. The punch-hole design is pretty much in line with what we heard so far, it lacks pop-up selfie snapper.
Redmi GM recently confirmed the flagship will be running on the Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC. From what we heard so far the Redmi flagship could have a 6.3-inches display. The primary rear snapper will be a 48MP module, the secondary sensor will be ultrawide angle module and a telephoto sensor. The selfie snapper resolution is still in the dark.
Other goodies include an under-glass fingerprint scanner rather traditional fingerprint scanner. As we can't confirm whether the aforementioned device in the video is indeed Redmi Pro 2/ Redmi flagship or not. That's why we will recommend taking this info with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned.
