Xiaomi Redmi Y3 to go official on April 24 in India with 32MP selfie snapper

Finally, the wait is over as the Chinese giant Xiaomi confirms the launch of Redmi Y3 in a new teaser. The latest teaser reveals few key details regarding the phone and launch. The Redmi Y3 will be exclusively available via Amazon in India from April 24th. The device will be a selfie-centric phone with 32MP selfie snapper. As far as the design is a concern the Redmi Y3 comes with dewdrop notch at the top of the display.


The Amazon Redmi Y3 dedicated page confirms the device will have dual snappers on the rear side. The fingerprint scanner will be on the rear. Following the latest trend, the device comes with a gradient finish.

The Redmi 7 lineup phones feature P2i nano-coating to resist against water splashes. Fortunately, the Redmi Y3 will also have P2i nano coating. From what we have heard so far the Redmi Y3 will be running on the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 632 chipset. A recent teaser confirms two days battery life which means we can expect 4,000mAh battery. The Redmi fans don't have to wait longer as the official unveiling will be on next Tuesday. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
