Finally, the wait is over as the Oppo's sub-brand Realme unveiled the latest best-offering Realme 3 Pro. The device was in leaks and rumors from the past few weeks and with each passing day, we had something new and exciting. Thanks to the continuous stream of teaser many details regarding the phone were already out. Today the company launched it with the powerful Snapdragon 710 chipset, more RAM and storage options, and powerful cameras setup.
In terms of features the Realme 3 Pro sports a 6.3-inches display with Full HD+ screen resolution. The Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset is powering the phone. The device will be available in three configurations. The base model has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, the standard model comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The top of the line model comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
It supports memory expansion via MicroSD up to 256GB. It features a dedicated slot for dual SIMs and MicroSD card. The fingerprint scanner is on the rear side. On the rear side, you will get dual cameras, the primary sensor is Sony IMX519 16MP module with f/1.7 aperture. The secondary sensor is a 5MP depth-sensing module to assist in capturing portrait shots. Up front, the selfie snapper is a 25MP module with f/2.0 aperture.
As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie based Color OS 6 skin over it. Being a Pro variant it comes with a number of special camera tricks under the hood. A new Chroma Boost feature is introduced which automatically adjust the contrast level of shots. One of the key issues with mid-range phones is regarding low-light capturing capabilities, the Realme 3 Pro comes with dedicated Nightscape mode to enhance the capturing capabilities during low-light scenarios. Last but not the least the device is capable to record super slow motion HD videos at 960 frames per second.
The Realme 3 Pro lights are kept on by a 4,045mAh battery cell. One of the key selling aspects of the Realme 3 Pro is VOOC 3 charging tech which means the device will have 20W fast charger. Unfortunately, the device still relies on the Micro-USB port.
As far as the availability is a concern the Realme 3 Pro will be available in Lightning Purple, Carbon Gray, and Nitro Blue colors. The base model will be available at INR 13,999 whereas the top of the line model costs INR 16,999. It will be up for sale from April 29th via Realme.com and Flipkart. The company confirmed its offline release as well.
