The Huawei P30 Pro which was launched earlier this year is one of the company’s most popular phone’s right now. Now, according to a new leak the company has set its eyes on adopting more eccentric designs and is planning to launch the Huawei P Smart Z smartphone, a new mid-range smartphone with a popup selfie camera.
Now the company has quietly put the Huawei P Smart Z for pre-order on Amazon in Italy. The Huawei P Smart Z is powered by a Kirin 710 SoC, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot. It has a 6.59-inch FHD+ display with 2.340 x 1.080 pixels resolution and a 19.5:9 screen ratio.
Camera wise the phone has a primary 16MP f/1.8 camera with a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 16MP front camera for clicking selfies with 2D Face unlock. The P Smart Z has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and will also come with Face Unlock feature. It will ship with a powerful 4,000 mAh battery and will run on Android 9.0 out of the box. The device will have a USB Type-C port as well. It measures 163.5 x 77.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs just 196.8 grams. The phone will be available in Black, Blue, and Green colours. The Huawei P Smart Z is priced at 279.90 EUR on Amazon Italy. Now that the Huawei phone has been spotted online for pre-orders it will hit the retail shelves soon as well.
The Huawei P Smart Z will be unlikely to ever hit the US market, due to the ongoing trust issues. The phone looks like an interesting device and we will keep you posted when it hits the other markets. So, stay tuned!

A look at the specs sheet in general will give you an idea of the Huawei P Smart Z being standard phone with decent specs. But the pop-up camera feature adds to that punch it needs.
The way Samsung and many other brands are putting in premium-level specs in mid-range phones, a notch, then dew-drop notch started to become a common feature.
And now the trend is changing towards the pop-up camera. In the near future, we should see mid-rangers with pop-up selfie cameras.
