The Chinese giant silently wraps off the cover from Y9 Prime 2019. The device isn't announced formally instead the company listed it on the official website. Despite being a mid-range phone the Y9 Prime 2019 brings a number of special features which set it apart from other phones in the category. It comes with triple cameras setup on the rear side. As reported earlier the up front, it comes with a full front-facing display with pop-up selfie snapper.
The Y9 Prime 2019 comes with a unique design as far Huawei phones are a concern. It features two-tone finish on the rear. On first look, it looks more like a Google Pixel phone. Thanks to ultra-thin bezels design it features a 6.59-inches LCD display with Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display pixels density is 391 pixels-per-inch.
The Huawei's own Kirin 710 chipset is powering the phone, the Mali-G51 is taking care of graphics. It will be available in two configurations. The base model has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage whereas the top-tier model has 128GB storage. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie based EMUI 9 skin over it. The fingerprint scanner is on the rear side in the center.
As mentioned above, the Y9 Prime 2019 comes with triple cameras setup. The primary snapper is a 16MP module with an f/1.8 aperture. The secondary snapper is an ultra wide-angle 8MP sensor. The last sensor on the rear is a 2MP depth-sensing module with f/2.4 aperture. Up front the pop-up selfie snapper module is 16MP. A 4,000mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. The Y9 Prime 2019 measurements are 163.5 x 77.3 x 8.8mm and weigh 196.8g.
In terms of color options, the device will be available in Blue, Green and Black colors. The Y9 Prime release and price details are still in the dark. Considering the device is already listed on the official website, we can expect it will be released soon. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
