OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 features new design and Warp Charge

15 May 2019 2

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 has been launched as the latest Bluetooth earphones from the company. These were announced alongside the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 smartphones unveiling last night. These earphones are a direct successor to last year's Bullets Wireless and have received a significant price jump.

The team has made changes to the Bullets Wireless 2 design and appearance to make them more comfortable to wear and give them a unique look. These have been released in Black color with Red accent around the earbuds. There are changes to the internal components as well which means one should expect improved sound quality as compared to the previous release.

In terms of technical specifications, OnePlus has made use of two Knowles Balanced Armature Drivers and one 10mm dynamic driver for a premium sound output. It features Qualcomm aptX HD and Bluetooth 5.0 support for a better connectivity experience. If you own a OnePlus smartphone (OnePlus 5 or later), these earphones offer Quick Pair feature for almost instant connection.

These can be connected to two different devices at the same time and the user can switch between those devices by pressing a dedicated button. The Bullets Wireless 2 also come with Warp Charge support that is claimed to offer up to 10 hours of listening time within 10 minutes of charging. If charged to full, they are claimed to last for up to 14 hours. They further feature Google Assistant integration with a dedicated button.

OnePlus has priced Bullets 2 Wireless earphones at $99 in the United States. These will cost €99 in Europe and INR 5,990 in the Indian market.

The best thing in here is the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously. Though, there are device constraints like it being OP5 or later, still it's a good take.
