Indian smartphone brand Micromax has launched its latest budget smartphone named iOne. This is the most recent release from the company since it unveiled Infinity N11 and Infinity N12 late last year. With the latest release, it seems to be targetting buyers looking for modern design and latest software on a budget.
The Micromax iOne sports a 5.45-inch notched display with 1132 x 540 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has an octa-core Unisoc SC9683 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage with support for microSD cards up to 128GB.
In the camera department, it has a 5-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture. Both cameras feature Samsung 5E8 sensor and only the back one has an LED flash. The whole package is powered by a 2,200mAh battery. It will be running Android 9 Pie out of the box which is the latest Android version.
Micromax has priced the iOne at Rs. 4,999 which makes it one of the phones to be considered if you are on a tight budget. It will be sold via offline stores across the country.
