While OPPO is busy preparing for the launch of its RENO series in India, the company has launched a new phone in the European market. The new device is called as OPPO Reno Z and it comes with some heavyweight camera setup.
The new Reno Z houses a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Though there is no scope for storage expansion via an external micro SD card.
Talking about the optics, the Reno Z comes with a dual camera set up at the back with the primary sensor being a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 and a 5-megapixel sensor, while on the front there is a 32-megapixel selfie snapper housed in a waterdrop shaped notch. The company claims that the glass rear of the phones is protected by O-Dot ceramic point to protect the camera sensors when the phone is laid on its surface.
The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, 3950 mAh battery with a 20W VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. For connectivity, it features, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The price of OPPO Reno Z has not been unveiled officially yet. Though it is speculated to be priced between Euro 150 to Eur 190 for the 6GB and 128 GB variant. The phone comes in a couple of color variants Ocean Green and Jet Black colors. There is no word on international availability yet.
