Amazon has launched an updated Kindle Oasis with some new features and capabilities to let you enjoy your readings for longer hours. The Kindle Oasis now comes with a new lighting system (adjustable warm light) that allows the users to adjust the color temperature of the display.
With the help of this, you can choose the display to be either a cool white or a warmer yellow based on what you like to have while you’re reading your favorite book. Also, just like the night mode systems, users will also be able to automatically schedule the warmer tone display, either having a manual cycle or to coincide with sunrise and sunset.
The new Kindle Oasis also comes with the e-Ink technology for faster page turns. These are the two main and new features added to the Kindle Oasis. Otherwise, the third-generation Oasis is virtually the same as the older model in terms of other specifications. It includes the same 7-inch display, holds waterproofing capability, and has Bluetooth support for connectivity with Audible audiobooks.
The all-new or update Kindle Oasis still doesn’t have the USB-C and you’re stuck with Micro USB for charging. The device is thin and light in weight and gives you access to the millions of books, newspapers, and audiobooks.
The price of the new Kindle Oasis is $249.99 for the 8GB model and $279.99 for the 32GB version. Note that add-ons like removing ads or cellular data will cost extra. The new Kindle Oasis will go on sale on July 24th, and the pre-orders are available starting today at Amazon’s website. It comes in Graphite and Champagne Gold colors.
