Vivo has launched a more affordable version of the IQOO smartphone and its name is iQOO Neo. When Vivo launched the iQOO phone, it arrived with the slogan “Monster Inside” indicating that the device includes some high-end specifications for a smoother performance. Another highlight of the phone was 44W fast-charging tech together with plenty of software acceleration modes to back it up.
Now, the all-new iQOO Neo is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor that is a year-old processor but no slouch by any means. The device features a 6.38-inch OLED panel and has full HD+ resolution. The device includes an under-display fingerprint scanner to maintain a nearly bezel-less design. Vivo mentions that the digitizer of the device includes touch acceleration for zero lag when using in-game joysticks.
The Vivo iQOO includes a dedicated cooling system with two multi-layer graphite slates sandwiching a vapor chamber and a piece of aluminum. The company touts that the phone can reach 3 degree Celsius lower temperatures than other Snapdragon 845-powered smartphones. The new iQOO comes with AI Turbo, Center Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and other features, all packed under the name Multi-Turbo.
The Vivo iQOO Neo houses a year-old processor but it features the trendiest triple rear cameras module. There is a 12MP primary shooter, 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera is 12MP. It runs Funtouch OS 9, based on Android Pie. It houses 4,500mAH battery and supports 22.5W Vivo FlashCharge that charge the phone to 50% in 30 minutes.
The price of the Vivo iQOO Neo starts from CNY1,798 ($260/€230) for the 6/64 GB variant and go as high as CNY2,298 ($335/€295). You can pre-order the device from the company’s own online store and major Chinese retailers, with the first flash sale scheduled for July 8.
