As expected previously, the RedmiBook 14 Enhanced edition is now official with bumped up specifications. It is an improved version of the original RedmiBook 14 launched earlier this year. The major difference is the addition of the 10th generation Intel processors which is a significant upgrade over 8th generation processors available on the original model.
The RedmiBook 14 Enhance Edition sports a 14-inch Full HD IPS display panel. It has most of the specifications and even product design same as the previously released model. Under the hood, it has been released with 10th Gen Ice Lake Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 processors. It features 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage with a total of three configuration variants to choose from.
- Intel Core i5-10210U processor with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and NVIDIA MX250 GPU
- Intel Core i5-10210U processor with 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and NVIDIA MX250 GPU
- Intel Core i7-10510U processor with 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and NVIDIA MX250 GPU
The connectivity options on these models include two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and one HDMI port along with WiFi and Bluetooth. These will be running Windows 10 Home out of the box and will also come pre-installed with Microsoft Office suite.
It is the pricing which makes the new RedmiBook 14 Enhanced Edition a steal. You will have to pay CNY 3,999 (about $559) and CNY 4,499 (about $629) for the two models with Intel Core i5 processor. If you want to go for the Intel Core i7 variant, it will cost you CNY 4,999 (about $699). All the models are available for preorders in China with sales starting September 6th.
