Oppo 65W SuperVOOC fast-charging demo shows 100% charge in just 25 mins

17 September 2019 0

Oppo has demoed the 65W SuperVOOC fast charging tech that will debut on the upcoming Reno Ace smartphone on October 10. The Chinese smartphones manufacturer took to Weibo to demonstrate how fast the latest 65W fast-charging SuperVOOC tech charges the phone compared to the VOOC 3.0 technology.

The demonstration shared in a video shows the device with the 65W fast-charging tech was able to charge a smartphone with 4,000mAH battery to 100% in a mere 25 minutes. With the demonstration, Oppo has proved that this isn’t a crazy claim. The phone shown in the video is, of course, the Reno Ace smartphone that is scheduled to launch early next month.

Oppo hasn’t shared any other details on the technology but the demo is enough to assume the potential and prospects of the company. The 65W SuperVOOC fast-charging tech is the highest in the industry currently. The same company recently brought the NEX 3 series smartphones with the 44W fast-charging tech support and it's also already developing the 120W fast-charging but its rival Xiaomi is also on the same track and eyeing the same charging tech so that users could flash-charge their devices in like no time.

The tipster Ice Universe has shared the video from Weibo on Twitter which you can watch from below -

Talking about the Reno Ace smartphone, the device is expected to feature the 90Hz display as well. It may come powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor.

These are the only primal specifications we know so far about the upcoming smartphone from Oppo Reno series. The said launch event is still too far from us but we expect to gather more tidbits on the same. So come back to learn more.
