One of the most talked-about and hyped phones Reno Ace is now official with the fastest fast-charging tech. Yes, the main highlight of the phone is its 65W SuperVOOC tech that could fully charge the device in just 30 minutes and you get two hours of usage from just a five-minute charge.
Another good thing is, the phone has support for both – USB-C Power Delivery and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge at 18W, which is going to helpful for times when you don’t have Oppo’s proprietary charger. This is great as Google now makes this interoperability in the fast-charge tech world mandatory as well.
The Oppo Reno Ace comes with a “shark-fin” pop-up selfie camera and a periscope telephoto lens. It comes with quad rear cameras with beautiful design.
In terms of specifications, the new Reno Ace is quite similar to the very new OnePlus 7T. It’s powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, has a 6.5-inch 1080p display with a small waterdrop notch and a 90Hz refresh rate, and has Sony’s 48MP IMX585 sensor as well among the four camera sensors in the group. The phone supports up to 60fps at 1080p, and you can also achieve a 5x hybrid zoom with video recording.
With its powerful specifications and beefy features, the Reno Ace is also suitable for mobile gaming. The 135Hz touch sampling rate helps in churn out the best in gaming. It comes with 4G vibration as well to offer more immersive haptic feedback. Furthermore, there is a layer of composite carbon fiber between the chipset and the vapor cooling chamber which handles the heat dissipation in maximum load times.

The price of the Reno Ace with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is 2,999 Yuan ($420) and the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage costs 3,799 Yuan ($534). Oppo has also launched the Gundam Edition Reno Ace which packs 256GB storage and 8GB RAM and costs 3,599 Yuan ($506). It’s actually the Gundam 40th anniversary edition Reno Ace and the company is making available only 30,000 of these special units. The matching designs of the phone and packaging look similar to RX-78-2 Gundam.
