OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition with 12GB RAM and in Papaya Orange color launched

10 October 2019 0

OnePlus also launched the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition as a special and limited edition alongside the OnePlus 7T Pro. The McLaren Edition features an orange and black color scheme which makes it really attractive to look at. OnePlus calls this special Orange glaze the Papaya Orange which adds a pop of an amazing color hue to the device and makes it even more special.

The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition mainly gains cosmetic changes which make it look unique and eye-catching. This variant of the OnePlus 7T Pro is the second special edition coming from the partnership between smartphone brand OnePlus and automotive brand McLaren. Its standout design feature under the glass on the back is influenced by the McLaren’s Speedtail – a three-seater hypercar. It’s a highly intricate design etched underneath the glass.

The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition comes with 12GB RAM, else it has similar specifications as the OnePlus 7T Pro. It comes with a 6.67-inch HD+ OLED display that curves around the edges of the device. It includes a pop-up selfie camera that houses a 16MP lens. The McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 7T Pro is not only unique but powerful as well, thanks to the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor.

The OnePlus 7T Pro limited McLaren Edition comes with special theme installed which adds special wallpapers, icons, and accent colors. When a notification arrives, the phone emits a marvelous blur of Papaya Orange just like the “streaking lights of McLaren speeding past you at night.” OnePlus didn’t announce the name of this feature, but the presentation showed its name to be Horizon Light.

Also, while using the in-display fingerprint scanner, you will see a burst of orange and green as one of the animation options. This special phone gains a specially-crafted charging cable and brick as well. There’s a black and orange McLaren-branded Warp Charge 30T power brick with an orange color braided USB Type-C charging cable in the box. Technically, this is the same charger that charges the OnePlus 7T Pro as well and lets you hit 70% of charging in a mere 30 minutes.

OnePlus has also crafted a special case for this special phone because the company believes that the phone should also feel great in the hands. Flip the case and you’ll see some air pockets inside it that make a honeycomb design that helps in shock absorption.
