The Mi Notebook Pro 15 Enhanced Edition is the newest Windows laptop to come out from Xiaomi's stable. It is an upgraded version of the original Mi Notebook Pro 15 released earlier this year. Both are very much similar but the newer model will get you newer processors and graphics cards for better performance.
The biggest addition to the Mi Notebook Pro 15 Enhanced Edition is the 10th generation Intel Core i7-10510U and Core i5-10210U processors. These offer a maximum clock speed of up to 4.9GHz and 4.2GHz respectively. Both of these are quad-core eight-thread processors with up to 8MB L3 cache.
Xiaomi has paired the newly used chipsets with the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU with 2GB GDDR5 memory. The new laptop offers up to 16GB DDR4 dual-channel RAM and up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage. It has a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with 178-degree viewing angles, 300 nits of brightness, and support for 100% sRGB color gamut.
The notebook comes with a fully-fledged backlit keyboard with 1.5mm key travel. It has a wider trackpad and also offers a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The latter can be used for unlocking the laptop as well as authenticating transactions while shopping online. As for connectivity options, you will get a USB 3.1 port, two USB Type-C ports, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a three-in-one card reader. There is also a 1-megapixel webcam with 720p video recording support.
The whole package is powered by a 60Wh battery claimed to offer up to 17 hours of offline video playback, 15 hours of online video playback, and 12 hours of web browsing. It comes with fast charging support that can give you a 50% charge within 40 minutes. It will run Windows 10 Home out of the box and will also have a few pre-installed Xiaomi apps.
Xiaomi has priced the Mi Notebook Pro 15 Enhanced Edition at CNY 6,999 (about $988) for the model with Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage space. The pricing details for other configuration models are currently unknown. The good thing is that the new laptop is already available for purchase via Mi.com in China.
