Vivo has launched a new mid-range smartphone named Vivo Y19. It has been unveiled in Vietnam and Thailand for the time being but may also expand to other markets. The highlighting aspect of the smartphone is its huge 5,000mAh battery that should last you for about 1.5 to 2 days with ease.
The Vivo Y19 sports a 6.53-inch Full HD+ "Halo" display with a waterdrop-styled notch. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio P65 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. It has been released in only one storage option i.e. 128GB but there is support for microSD card expansion.
In the camera department, you will find a triple camera setup including a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.78 aperture. The other two sensors include an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 16-megapixel front camera housed within the notch for clicking selfies.
It will be running Funtoch OS 9.2 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. As mentioned in the beginning, it has a 5,000mAh battery and also supports reverse charging. The Vivo Y19 has been released in Magnetic Black and Spring White color variants. It has been priced at VND 4,990,000 in Vietnam and at 6,999 Thai Bhat in Thailand. This translates to about $230 but it is hard to say if it will become available in other regions.
