20 November 2019 0

Oppo introduced the ColorOS 7 at an event in China where it also announced which devices will receive the newest customized skin. While announcing the specifics, the company also disclosed the name of the first device to come with ColorOS 7 out of the box. Oppo reveals the Reno 3 will run ColorOS 7 from the launch day and will have support for 5G standalone and non-standalone (SA/NSA) sub 6GHz networks.

Oppo didn’t disclose any other details but it is expected that the Reno 3 will come powered by the Snapdragon 735 processor which recently gained the support of 5G from Qualcomm.

The ColorOS 7 not only brings visual changes to the UI but also adds a wealth of new features. Together with them, the latest version of the ColorOS based on Android also offers background optimizations to improve system performance. Oppo claims the ColorOS 7 is capable of doing better RAM optimization, can reduce app startup time by up to 40%, with a system resource efficiency by 30%. So, while the hardware will handle most of the heavy work, the new and optimized ColorOS will take care of enhancing the experience even further and make everything smooth.

During the event, Oppo also confirmed that the Reno 3 will be launched in December. We aren’t standing at a long distance from the said launch, so wait for more insights to come and delight you with the important information you need.
