OnePlus is actually unveiling a "Concept One" device at its CES Special Event

17 December 2019 0

OnePlus confirmed its debut at CES a few days back by sending out media invites and announcing the same on social media but it had not revealed what the product is. Well, it is still unknown which product will be announced at the biggest trade show but now, OnePlus has, at least, become a little more open about the launch.

On Weibo, OnePlus has confirmed that it is going to be a Concept One device. So, while it is confirmed that we will see a concept getting unveiled at the event, it is unknown if it is a concept smartphone or any other device.

Of late, the company has expanded itself to include different products and make a diversified portfolio. Recently, the company entered the growing Smart TV market in India with its 4K QLED Smart TV. OnePlus is notably known for making smartphones with high-end specifications at a “reasonable” price, though this has changed over time as the company now makes some expensive ones also. Well, not going in that direction, we are now curious to know what OnePlus has stored in for us.

What do you think? Could it be a new concept smartphone? A foldable one or something like a portless device as Apple is reportedly also planning to bring one next year. It is possible that OnePlus is bringing something like Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha, a phone with a wraparound screen and no edge.

Well, we can only make guesses for now since we do not have anything tangible to proceed with. OnePlus has made a position for itself in the smartphone segment in a mere six years. It is currently celebrating its sixth anniversary and we expect it to throw some light on its upcoming plans on this beautiful occasion.
