Vivo to unveil APEX 2020 concept phone at MWC event 2020

15 January 2020 0

Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is known for making feature-rich phones at an affordable cost. Well, this is not its only introduction as the company diversifies its portfolio with smartphone accessories, software, and some online services too. But, the company doesn’t just make new phones just for the sake of it. Vivo has its own track record of doing innovations and surprising the world with the outcome of its R&D as well.

Back in 2018, we first witnessed something futuristic, something which is now only becoming a trend. Vivo showed off the retractable front-camera, which has now become a pretty normal. The 99% bezel-free phone with an in-screen fingerprint scanner was something to spellbound you back in 2018 and Vivo just foresee the future.

Last year, the Vivo APEX 2019 brought the concept of using the in-screen fingerprint scanner from anywhere within the display and a body without any holes or ports. The latter is also something which would become a trend in the coming future.

Now, at MWC 2020, Vivo is planning to surprise you yet again with its futuristic approach. There are no specific details on how the new iteration of the concept would look and perform. But, a leaked invite sent to the press does reflect that Vivo isn’t leaving this year’s MWC event behind. Just like the last two years, it will introduce its concept phone at the MWC event in Barcelona.

It is unknown what the company is bringing this time, but looking at the invite, it looks like Vivo is introducing something related to the camera. Going by the press invite, Vivo is conducting its event between February 23 and February 24 at MWC 2020 event.

We are still more than a month away from the said launch of the Vivo APEX 2020. So, let’s just wait and come back for more details.
