Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are likely to feature the 108MP if we go by the references discovered by the folks over at the XDA-Developers. And, now, Xiaomi’s VP Lu Weibing has shared a couple of images that show the camera prowess of the upcoming smartphones. While he hasn’t shared the name of the device, it is not too hard to guess it right.
Going by some strong pieces of evidence, Xiaomi could bring Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro as its new flagship phones which allegedly have 108MP cameras. And, looking at the camera samples, it appears that the company is teasing the camera prowess of one of these flagship phones already.
These camera samples are particularly highlighting the zooming capability of the device. Remember the Mi Note 10 that came with 108MP primary camera has 5x optical zoom which catches the details of objects kept far away. This is what these camera samples are signifying as well. This means this could be either Mi 10 or the Mi 10 Pro device.
The Redmi K30 Pro is also in the rumors currently, but these camera samples do not belong to this device since the current evidence suggests that the phone will stick to 64MP main camera with no telephoto lens.
The Mi 10 series is already confirmed to launch in the first quarter of this year, but the latest tip may have just revealed the exact launch date as well. A new leak out of China suggests that the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will launch on February 13.

The leak has also tipped that the Mi 10 will go on sale on February 14, just a few days from now. On the other hand, the Mi 10 Pro may start shipping from February 18. The leak on the launch is first spotted by the tipster Xiaomishka who even claims that the company would announce its launch event on February 7. All the dates can’t be confirmed so it is better to take them all with a pinch of salt for now. And, if the stated information is true then we are just a few days away from the launch.
While the company hadn’t come clear on the details of the Mi 10, it has now, at least, thrown something big to our way. According to a tweet made by Zhiyuan Zang, Deputy GM of Xiaomi Marketing and Xiaomi Japan, the 5G variant of the Mi 10 will use the Micron’s LPDDR5 RAM.
