It was already confirmed that the Oppo Find X2 will arrive in Q1 2020 and now the media invite reveals when the launch is actually happening. Oppo has scheduled the launch event for the Find X2 and it will happen on February 22 in Barcelona just ahead of MWC 2020, GSMArena reports.
The media invite carries nothing else but it does clearly mention the name of the device which will be launched at the event. There are no confirmed details on the Find X2 but some leaks have shed enough light on them, including the option to choose between the 60Hz and the 120Hz display panel. In fact, it is speculated that the device would let you set the 120Hz refresh rate on the highest resolution display setting which is WQHD+ as well.
Brian Shen, the company’s VP, has, however, confirmed that it is too early to expect an under-display camera on the Find X2. So, this clarifies the air, in case you’ve had any expectations with it. He also said last month that the prime focus is the screen and some industry-leading features, which we believe he is indicating at the cameras and the rumored 65W SuperVOOC fast-charging support.
A recently leaked screen protector has revealed a punch-hole display with almost negligible bezels. The protector also indicated that the device may also hold a slight curve to hold a curved display.
Well, this month holds many new launches and the Find X2’s is just one of them and we can’t wait to see it. So, come back to receive more launch insights.
