Yi M1 Mirrorless camera announced for $330

Yi Technology just announced the brand new Yi M1 Mirrorless Camera at an event today. This is the company’s latest powerful camera.


The Yi M1 has a Sony IMX269 sensor with 20.16-megapixels, and has a M4/3 Mirrorless setup. The camera allows the user to shoot upto an ISO of 25,600. It even allows shooting a 4K video, supports RAW formatting and even has a mechanical shutter. There are 2 color options for the camera – the silver and the black. A 3-inch screen at the back and four buttons controls the functions in the camera.


Alongside the camera, the company also announced two lenses for this gadget. First is the 12-40mm zoom lens with an f/2.5-5.6 aperture, and the second is a 42.5mm fixed focus lens with f/1.8 aperture. The price of this camera with the standard zoom lens is 2199 Yuan ($330), whereas it costs 2999 Yuan ($450) with both the lenses mentioned above. An extra 399 Yuan can get you a backpack for the camera which has accessories like UBV filters, charger, straps, filters etc. The camera and the lenses will go on sale from September 23 on their official website – JD.com.
