20 October 2016 0

Finally, Nintendo keeps their promise as they revealed Nintendo NX with the new name Nintendo Switch. During the first week of September, there was a report saying that Nintendo NX might bring back cartridges. And that is what exactly Nintendo Switch did. It is revealed as a cartridge-based hybrid console. This means those traveler gamers could experience the Nintendo gaming magic on the go with the new Nintendo Switch.

As the name suggests switching from a home-based table device which is resting on a dock to a portable gaming console, easy as pulling the Switch from its dock. Apart from that the Joy-Con controller also works in two modes. It can be used as a joystick by attaching to the Joy-Con grip. When the device is used as a portable, Joy-Con controller can be slide into either side of the tablet. Apart from that, each Joy-Con controller pieces can be used as separate controllers. And as you can guess, multiplayer gaming is as easy as it is, with this feature.

One of the rumors which were spread back in July this year revealedNintendo NX system could come powered by NVIDIA Tegra chips. And now it has come true as the new Nintendo Switch is powered by NIVIDIA Tegra processor. Tegra processor uses the same architecture as the GeForce graphics cards. Apart from that NVIDIA is bringing new custom software, including a revamped physics engine, new libraries, advanced game tools and libraries, and new gaming APIs etc to the Nintendo Switch. NVN, the latest API supports lightweight, fast gaming modes.

There is a big list of high-profile studios that are supporting Nintendo by developing games for their new console. Electronic Arts, Activision, Ubisoft, Capcom, Sega, and Square Enix, Bethesda makes the top spots of the list. The full list is given below.

As per the reports, Nintendo switch will be available in the markets from March 2017. Share your opinion about the new console from Nintendo in the comment box below.
