Monitor-manufacturer, AOC has come up with a new elegant looking line of monitors that have been designed together by designers from AOC and Porsche's Studio F.A.
The frameless design adds an aesthetic value to the monitors and makes them look sleek. The monitors are ultra-slim(5.2mm) and do not have any clutter due to the cables and adapters around them. They have an asymmetrical metal stand to rest upon.
The technical specs of the monitors are:
- AH-IPS Display panels with 1920x1080 resolution
- 100% sRGB and 90% NTSC colour space
- Flicker-free technology and Low Blue Light mode to prevent discomfort while watching
The cable-clutter has been managed well by hiding it under the monitor's stand. The monitor's amazing looks prove that Porsche's design principles give great results on objects other than their cars.
Speaking about the designs, Henning Rieseler, Manager at Studio F. A. Porsche Berlin and the designer of the new AOC monitor series said,
The expressive shape of the monitor stand emphasises the simple idea of integrating the cables into the stand. The form not only follows the function but celebrates it through its asymmetrical shape in an elegant and sophisticated way.
There are 2 models of the monitors that have been made available:
- 24-inch AOC PDS241-$199 on Amazon
- 27-inch AOC PDS271-$249 on Amazon
