World famous space agency NASA continues to invest billions in the universe exploration. NASA plans an expedition to Alpha Centauri by the year 2069 which seems quite ambitious though it's quite understandable knowing how the earth might become a fireball as predicted by the popular scientists. Universe has come along way going through various stages since the big bang as theorized.
In the time-lapse shared in the video above, the artist John Boswell goes through the growth and formation of the universe after the big bang took place. The artist is popular and is known for his work for world-renowned scientists like Neil deGrasse Tyson and Carl Sagan in addition to the cast of Stranger Things. You could consider the video as a documentary with clips in between from famous personalities like Brian Cox, David Attenborough, and Carl Sagan.
Interestingly, every second in the video showcases 22 million years and along the way, Boswell shares how the universe grew and evolved starting from initial stars, black holes, galaxies, and supernovas. If you’re wondering, our solar system and sun forms into existence whereas humans show up at the last moment i.e. the final second in the timeline.
The time-lapse goes to show the existence of humans and size scale compared to the universe we live in.
