YI announced their GoPro rival, the YI 4K+ action camera back at CES 2017. Today, they showcased the new camera at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona. The action camera is targeted for users trying to capture moments during travels and adventures.
The YI 4K+ action camera can capture 4K videos at 60 frames per second, making it the first one of its kind. The power is delivered by the new advanced Ambarella H2 SoC processor, which offers a bit rate of 120Mbps, the highest as compared to other competitors in the 4K league.
The camera also features Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), filtered audio output, live streaming support, and even VR capability. Fascinating what a tiny camera such as this one can do! The device has a USB 3.0 Type-C connectivity and measures in at 42 x 65 x 21mm and weighs in around 95 grams.
