The Nokia 6.1 aka Nokia 6 (2018) with 4GB RAM has finally been made available for purchase in India. It is an upgraded variant of the Nokia 6 which was launched with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Like the previous variant, the latest offering is exclusive to Amazon India. It has been priced at Rs. 18,999 and if you choose to buy it today, there are a bunch of launch offers for you.
There is Rs. 2000 cashback offer for Airtel 4G subscribers and free Airtel TV subscription until December 31st, 2018. MakeMyTrip is offering 25% discount on domestic hotels and Picsdream Moments & Memories are offering free customizable prints or 20% discount on purchases. It further includes free 12 months damage insurance by Servify in collaboration with Kotak 811. Lastly, buyers have the option to purchase the phone at no cost EMI for a period of 12 months.
To give a specifications overview, the Nokia 6.1 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. On the back, it has a 16-megapixel camera with ZEISS optics and f/2.0 aperture. There is an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 3000mAh battery and it will be running stock Android 8.1 Oreo. It should be noted that it is an Android One device which means you will be receiving faster and regular software updates including monthly security patches.

There are actually quite a few phones in both Android One and Android Go segments. And both of them are new introductions from Google.
Ir's great to see the Andriod One initiative from Google and other companies supporting this category of the OS.
