Nokia 6.1 Plus with Snapdragon 636 shows up on Geekbench

Nokia X6 got launched in May though was only restricted to China leaving the fans disappointed. HMD Global, that is the company that manufactures the Nokia smartphones took the feedback from the fans that craved for Nokia X6 around the globe. Considering this, Nokia X6 is now going global with the name Nokia 6.1 or Nokia 6. The news was officially confirmed by Juho Sarvikas, who is the chief product officer at the aforementioned company, on his Twitter.


As per the recent leaks, we got a hit that Nokia X6 would be coming to Europe with the name Nokia 6.1 while the launch event will take place on 19th July. The mentioned smartphone got spotted on the popular smartphone benchmarking sites Geekbench featuring the same hardware specs as Nokia X6, thus suggesting that these two smartphones might be the same with different names.

Boasting an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset that is clocked at 1.61 GHz, we know that it could go up to 1.8GHz. Featuring a 4GB RAM the device would be shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo. The device obtains a score of 1332 points with its single-core while for its multi-core 4903 points. Apart from these specs, the device would sport a display with top-notch and dual rear cameras.
