HMD Global speculated to be working upon Nokia X phone with Zeiss lens

09 October 2018 2

Remember those times when Nokia smartphones rocked Carl Zeiss lens (which later became just ‘Zeiss’ dropping the ‘Carl’ from the name) lens and had a huge name or its self-incorporated quality lenses. HMD Global has been doing the same for years, utilizing the Zeiss lens in its smartphones, though this wasn’t the case with the Nokia X series (X6 and X5). It seems that time has come again where it’s reported that Nokia is working upon a smartphone under its popular ‘X’ series that would feature camera lens from Zeiss, which several teasers, speculations, and rumors are floating around already.

Taking in consideration the post published on the Chinese popular social media platform Weibo, it seems that Nokia would now be using Nokia smartphone from ‘X’ series to publish posts, that would be utilizing the goodies of Zeiss lenses. Weibo shares details of the device that is used to post on the platform, and in this example, we could clearly notice that it says Nokia X along with some Chinese words, hinting towards a possible change in this regard as opposed to the Nokia 7 Plus.

All this hints us that Nokia X series smartphones have passed Zeiss certification. As per the naming convention, we expect this phone to be named as Nokia X7. What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section below.
