Nokia has been known for frequently offering software updates for its smartphones. The company recently announced a software update for the Nokia 6.1 Plus which made Nokia 6.1 owners wonder when their smartphone will get a taste of Android 9 Pie.
Nokia’s chief product officer, Juho Sarvikas actively engages with user community on Twitter announced that Android Pie update for Nokia 6.1 is due next and will skip beta labs. This announcement was in response to a user’s query who asked for the status of Android update for the phone.

Then Nokia 6.1 was launched in the month of May 2018 and came with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera with ZEISS optics, an 8-megapixel front camera and is powered by a 3000 mAh battery.

Yup. Nokia is going to offer the Pie to all its Nokia models, if I'm not wrong. But didn't know that they would even skip the betalabs... :D
Seems like more than the users, Nokia itself is more curious to roll out the Android Pie :cool: :cool:
