A fresh successor to the old Nokia 106 has been introduced by HMD Global. The new feature phone features the same 1.8-inch (160x128 pixels) TFT display with 4-way Navy Key and the same 800mAH battery but this now promises 15.7 hours of talk time. Launching a new feature phone suggests, HMD Global hasn’t abandoned the development of such kind of mobiles category.
The dual SIM Nokia 106 is powered by MediaTek MTK6261D processor and has 4MB RAM. The phone can hold up to 2,000 contacts and 500 text messages as the built-in storage is now been increased.
The all-new Nokia 106 2018 has a polycarbonate body, contoured design and it comes with classic Snake Xenia game and some other pre-loaded games like Nitro Racing, Danger Dash, Tetris, and more.
Together with the new Nokia 106, the company also announced new Grey and Dark Blue color variants of the Nokia 230 that introduced in Black and Silver colors back in 2015.
The Nokia 106 (2018) is launched in Dark Grey color and it will go on sale in Russia later this month at a suggested retail price of 1,590 rubles ( US $23).
