HMD Global has scheduled a new Nokia launch event for December 5th. It will be held in Dubai and as per the event teaser, there will be a total of three new smartphones that will be unveiled on the stage. The announcement regarding the date was made by Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global.
In his tweeted, he shared the event teaser image along with the text "#ExpectMore". The image shows three smartphone silhouettes which only confirm the number of phones. Although on a closer inspection, it can be seen that two of these phones will be sporting a notched display.
If we go by the rumor mill, all of the recent leaks and rumors suggest that we might be seeing the official unveiling of the Nokia 9, Nokia 8.1 Plus, and Nokia 2.1 Plus. Among this, the Nokia 9 is the most anticipated one which has been appearing in leaks for about a year now. It is the existence of the Penta-lens camera system which makes it stand apart from every other phone which we have seen so far. Other rumored specs include a 6.01-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB internal storage, and Android 9 Pie.
As for the Nokia 8.1 Plus, it is widely speculated to be nothing but the global variant of the already available Nokia X7. Lastly, the Nokia 2.1 Plus will be an entry-level smartphone with budget pricing. It means it will not be offering any fancy specs or features but it will be interesting to see if it will also sport a notch.

There's only the Nokia 9 which is the closest to the most expected launch from Nokia next. And the phone has been in the news of late.
And the Nokia 8.1 Plus, and the Nokia 2.1 Plus are the other two likely phones in the teaser.
The black surroundings and the silhouettes don't really allow understanding if there is indeed any notch. It's virtually impossible to see anything there.
You really need a "closer inspection" to see those notches as mentioned above. Zoom the browser window or your picture viewer.
