Last week HMD Global took the stage to announce Nokia 8.1 in Dubai. At the launch event, the company confirmed it will be available in Europe at a price tag of €399. However, despite having solid pricing the Nokia 8.1 isn't bringing solid specs sheet to lure buyers. The Nokia 8.1 features a fairly large 6.2-inches Full HD+ display, under the hood the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 710 SoC is powering the phone, the rear side has dual Zeiss certified sensors.
As per the latest report, the company will be releasing top-tier model of Nokia 8.1 in January. Currently, the device is available only in one configuration with 4GB RAM and 64GB native storage. Most of the entry-level phones even have a similar setup. The Nokia X7 is the Chinese variant of Nokia 8.1, it is available in 6GB RAM variant. The company is planning to bring Nokia 8.1 in 6GB RAM configuration.
The Nokia 8.1 6GB RAM variant will be available for purchase in next month, initially, it will be available in few markets but the company yet to confirm the markets. However, we can expect more details regarding the 6GB RAM variant of Nokia 8.1 will appear in coming days, Stay tuned.
