Nokia 6.2 specs leak suggests Snapdragon 660 and triple rear cameras

23 July 2019 0

A recent report claimed that HMD Global is working on releasing Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 smartphones next month. The report did not mention anything about specifications or what else to expect but now, we have a fresh leak coming from China detailing Nokia 6.2 specifications. The leak has been shared by usually reliable Chinese publication ITHome.

The Nokia 6.2 is claimed to sport a 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with no notch. It is said to feature a punch-hole selfie camera design which HMD Global debuted with the release of Nokia X71. This particular design is popular among OEMs when they want to offer a full-screen display without having to go for any kind of notch.

Under the hood, it is reported to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. It means there will be multiple RAM variants but only one onboard storage option i.e. 64GB. It is likely to have microSD card support but nothing has been mentioned about that.

In the camera department, there is a vertically-aligned triple rear camera setup with ZEISS branding. The three cameras are expected to include a 20-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There are no words on the front camera specifications yet. The whole package is said to be powered by a 3,300mAh battery and software is reported to be Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Lastly, the report mentions that Nokia 6.2 is expected to be priced around CNY 1,199 for 4GB/64GB and CNY 1,499 for 6GB/64GB for CNY 1,499. All of these are rumored specifications and we would suggest you wait until the official unveiling of the smartphone.

The Nokia 6.2 isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
