02 December 2019 0

Nokia’s Android smartphones are doing great in the market, especially in the mid-range sector. But this doesn’t stop the company from keeping itself away from bringing more feature phones.

In the world of amazingly growing smartphone business, Nokia appears to be adding one more feature phone to its portfolio, because let’s admit the feature phones still represent a majority of users. While feature phones are the daily drivers for some users, they are equally important from some users who like to carry them as their secondary devices. So, they will continue to grow and gain some features as well that could justify their presence in the industry.

Well moving on, a new Nokia feature phone with model number TA-1242 has just passed the certification process in China. The TENAA certification has also posted a few images of the device which give us an idea of how the device may look like.

The new Nokia feature phone in question looks a lot more like the Nokia 150 from behind. There is a single camera on the back and the phone has a significant thickness. The TENAA certification proves to be a lot helpful, thanks to the information it puts up. Going by the hardware specifications, the Nokia TA-1242 has 13.45×50.1×117.98 mm dimensions and it weighs 79.17 g. It will come with a 2.4-inch TFT screen with 240x320 pixels resolution. The battery capacity is 800mAH and 0.3MP VGA camera. It would come in Black and White color options.

The TENAA certification doesn’t have the image of the front of the device, but we expect to learn more about the device soon. So, the remaining details will be known then. So, let’s just wait for more details to come in.
