Xiaomi is reportedly having an event to conduct on March 24 in China where it will unveil new products in the market. The company is expected to launch a refreshed version of the RedmiBook 14 as well. This new version may employ AMD’s latest Ryzen 4000-series processor for enhanced efficiency and overall performance.
According to the notable tipster Ishan Agarwal who has shared the details with the tech site 91Mobiles, the refreshed RedmiBook 14 could include 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Note that previously, in partnership with AMD, Xiaomi brought the RedmiBook 14 featuring an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U or AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor. So, it is expected that we might see the refreshed version upgraded with a Ryzen 5 4500U and a Ryzen 4700U.
It is believed that Redmi hasn’t made any aesthetic changes to the refreshed version of the RedmiBook 14 which means it will hold the same physical appearance as the original model.
According to the tipster, the Redmi China Launch event will also include Redmi K30 Pro-series launch, Mi Air Purifier F1, Redmi X Keith Haring accessories and more.
In related news, Xiaomi is also entering the Indian laptops market with the help of its Redmi brand. And, the first product could be the RedmiBook 14, a notebook which is already official in China. The RedmiBook 14 first spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), reflecting that the product has already been available in the country for testing purposes. But the exact specifications are unknown.
Well, if Xiaomi is launching new Redmi products tomorrow, i.e March 24, then we shouldn’t make any assumptions on the specs of the RedmiBook 14 as we are just a few hours away from it.
