Samsung has officially announced Galaxy Book Flex 5G, a premium 2-in-1 convertible running Windows. It is essentially a 5G-capable version of the original Galaxy Book Flex released last year. The biggest additions in the newer version is the inclusion of 11th-gen Intel Core "Tiger Lake" processors and Intel Evo verification.
The Galaxy Book Flex 5G sports a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with touchscreen input. Under the hood, it gives an option to choose between 11th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors with Intel Iris X graphics. There are multiple configuration variants with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of onboard NVMe storage.
The convertible features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 720p front-facing camera. The whole package is powered by a 69.7Wh battery and can be chosen to ship with Windows 10 Home or Pro. Other noteworthy features include an S Pen stylus, backlit keyboard, 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, fingerprint reader, Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C port, an HDMI port, USB 3.0 port, SIM card slot, and a dedicated microSD card slot.
There are no official words on the Galaxy Book Flex 5G pricing and availability details but it will be available in a single Royal Silver color.
