Samsung has unveiled two new Galaxy Book notebooks named Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G. The first one is available with an optional LTE connectivity model too. It is also the model that has been detailed in the announcement. Both of these are exactly the same notebooks except for the difference in processor.
The Galaxy Book Go sports a 14-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) TFT display with minimal bezels on the sides. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor with Adreno GPU. It is available in 4GB and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 64GB and 128GB of eUFS onboard storage.
The whole package is powered by a 42.3Wh battery with a 25W USB Type-C fast charger. There is an HD webcam and Dolby Atmos speakers. The connectivity options include two USB Type-C ports, one USB 2.0 port, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 5, and a nano-SIM card slot. It can be purchased with either Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro. There is a single Silver color option for buyers. It has been priced at $399 for the base model, making it quite affordable for what it brings.
As for the Galaxy Book 5G, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G processor. All other specifications and features are identical to the 4G LTE variant. Samsung is yet to reveal the pricing details but said that it will go on sale later this year.
