Xiaomi has launched a new laptop called the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 in China. The latest laptop features an OLED display, 11-the generation Intel Core processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics and includes faster charging support as well.
The Mi Notebook Pro X 15 comes in 15.6-inch display size with Samsung’s E4 display type and 3.5K resolution (3450x2160 pixels) and a pixel density of 261 pixels per inch. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The thin profile of the notebook makes it pretty portable. Xiaomi has opted for a metal body to add that premium-ness to the laptop. It gets a full-size, backlit keyboard along with a key travel of 1.3mm. The Mi Notebook X 15 also has a built-in ambient sensor that adjusts the brightness of the keyboard as well as the display as per the environment.
The Mi Notebook Pro X15 is powered by Intel’s latest Core i5 and i7 range of processors and Xiaomi has chosen H-series of processors in both the Core-series and paired them up with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card and up to 32GB RAM. Storage-wide, the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 comes with 512GB and 1TB PCIe SSD storage. It runs Windows 10 Home out of the box and will get the Windows 11 update as well.
The Mi Notebook Pro X 15 houses four speaker units that are backed by DTS audio. There is a 720p webcam for video conferencing as well and a 2x2 microphone array.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 1x USB Type-C port that supports both data transmission and charging, 1x Thunderbolt 4 port, 1x HDMI 2.1 port, 1x USB A 3.2 Gen2 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Mi Notebook Pro X 15 is rated to deliver up to 11.5 hours of video playback on a single charge. Also, the laptop supports a 130W USB Type-C power adapter that is claimed to charge 50 percent of the battery available.
The starting price of the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 is CNY 7,999 ($1,238) for the base variant with a Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The top-end Core i7 variant with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage costs CNY 9,999 ($1,548)
