A new tip on the upcoming MacBook Pro has arrived that states the upcoming models will feature an upgraded FaceTime camera. The tip comes from @dylandkt, an Apple analyst, who says, the upcoming 14-inch and the 16-inch MacBook Pro models will feature the 1080p camera.
Currently, the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air all use a 720p FaceTime camera.
I know a lot people are referencing Linus’s video (which is a great video by the way) but it’s good to note that the upcoming MacBook Pro will actually be getting an updated improved 1080p webcam for the next model and so will the entire Mac lineup.— Dylan (@dylandkt) July 10, 2021
The tipster who is an iOS developer as well has a good albeit brief track record for rumors. So, we would like to move on with what he has to deliver this time, until, of course, something substantial comes up that can mention the opposite or back it further.
No other details are attached within the tweet but we can refer to some past reports that have postulated enough for the MacBook Pro models launching this year.
The same tipster recently mentioned that this year’s MacBook Pro model will get the Apple M1X processor and not the M2 processor. According to the tipster, the big upgrade is reserved for the MacBook Air 2022. Apple M1X processor is said to be fabricated on TSMC’s N5P node processor, a refined version of the 5nm node used in the current M1 process.
Previous leaks and even mentioned that the 2021 MacBook Pro models will get more ports, MagSafe, but the Touch Bar will go away.
