Xiaomi has officially unveiled two new notebooks named RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition in India. The Pro variant is aimed at those who are looking for a notebook packed with performance. The second one is primarily targeted at students who are looking for a decent option to attend online classes.
The RedmiBook Pro sports a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with noticeable bezels, especially the chin. Under the hood, it comes with the 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11300H processor (overclocked up to 4.4GHz) with an Intel Iris Xe graphics card. It is available in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
The connectivity options include one USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one HDMI 1.4 port, one RJ45 LAN port, one 3.5mm headphone audio jack, dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth v5.0. The notebook has a Scissor Mechanism keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel. There are dual 2W stereo speakers, DTS audio support, an in-built microphone, and a 720p HD webcam.
The whole package is powered by a 46Whr battery claimed to last for about 10 hours. It comes bundled with a 65W charging adapter to help you refill quickly. It will boot Windows 10 Home out of the box. The RedmiBook Pro has been priced at INR 49,999 with Charcoal Grey being the only color option.
With the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition, a lot of specifications are the same as the Pro version except for a few differences. It is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor with a maximum clock speed of 4.1GHz. It features an Intel UHD graphics card along with the same 8GB RAM but 256GB and 512GB configuration.
Xiaomi has priced the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition at INR 41,999 for the 8GB/256GB option and at INR 44,999 for the 8GB/512GB option.
