Upcoming 14-inch MacBook Pro to see price hike over current entry-level 13-inch Pro model | Tip

Leaks on the upcoming MacBook series are flowing, though they do not divulge much. Every new report on the upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBooks mostly reiterates the basics which, otherwise, aren’t hard to guess. But, keeping a tab on what’s coming in is important too as it keeps you well-connected with the subject. Well, moving on, now, a similar leak has now come out that comments on the pricing of the upcoming models.

As per Dylandkt, an Apple analyst, the upcoming MacBook Pro models will be pricier than the current model. The report states although the 14-inch Pro model will possess the same chip and performance, it will be pricier than the current 13-inch model.

Reportedly, the analyst clarified to MacRumors that the information is related to the entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro model with an M1 chip that has a price tag of $1,299. So, as per the analyst, the 14-inch MacBook Pro is going to be priced higher than the current entry-level 13-inch Pro model.

We have, however, also heard through the past reports that the upcoming models could possess an M1X processor, a slightly upgraded chipset over the M1 processor.

The 14-inch model, however, is said to be priced around the current 13-inch model.

Dylandkt has an overall great track record as several predictions made in the past came out true. So, let’s follow the new prediction again and see if it comes out true.

As per previous leaks, the new MacBook Pro models are expected to debut around October with better designs and brighter panels. There is said to be no Touch Bar and the new MacBooks are expected to have more ports and a MagSafe connector for charging.
