Microsoft's next launch event is just a couple of days away and Surface Pro 8 is one of the expected announcements. A new leak has emerged detailing some of the changes that we will see. It is speculated that this will probably be the biggest Surface Pro upgrade since the lineup was introduced.
The leak claims that the Surface Pro 8 will be powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core processor. There will be a 13-inch Narrow Border screen with a 120Hz high refresh rate. It means buyers will get a bigger display size when compared to the Surface Pro 7. The bezels are said to be slimmer so that users feel like using a bezel-less machine.

The newer version is finally tipped to get support for swappable SSDs. This is something that is already available on Surface Pro X, Surface Laptop 4, and Surface Pro 7 (business only). It will offer flexibility to users about changing the SSD whenever they feel like it. Another important change is the addition of two Thunderbolt ports. It will finally allow users to connect external GPUs and other peripherals that might want to. And lastly, the machine will boot Windows 11 out of the box.
The upcoming Microsoft launch event will be the center stage for a number of product announcements. Some of the rumored ones include Surface Go 3, redesigned Surface Book 4, upgraded Surface Pro X, Surface Duo 2 foldable, and obviously the aforementioned Surface Pro 8.
