At the same event, where Honor unveiled the Pad V7 tablet, it also announced new laptops in its MagicBook series. These are MagicBook V14, MagicBook 16, and 16 Pro notebooks.
The MagicBook V14 is the high-end flagship model in the new range. It is powered by Intel’s 11th-gen processors and has NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU. It is also Intel’s Evo platform certified, which means the notebook has achieved this badge after meeting certain requirements that have been laid out by Intel. This means the notebook will offer long-lasting battery life, fast-charging support, and more interesting features.
There is up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM option available together with up to 512GB PCIe SSD storage.
The Honor MagicBook V14 features a 14.2-inch LTPS LCD touchscreen display with 2520x1680 pixels resolution. It gets a 90Hz refresh rate and a 3:2 aspect ratio. There is a 5MP camera with its own ISP chip for crystal clear video chats, four speakers, and four microphones. The notebook has dual fans and two heat pipes for optimal thermal performance. It runs Windows 11 and has a 60Wh battery that is rated to deliver 15 hours of continuous usage.
Honor also took the wraps off the MagicBook 16 and the MagicBook 16 Pro notebooks. Both of them get the 144Hz refresh rate, LCD displays, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processors and can be configured with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPUs. Both the notebooks feature 16.1-inch displays with 300 nits of brightness. There is 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD.
The MagicBook V14 comes in Star Gray and Glacial Silver color options. The price starts at CNY 6,199 ($960) and goes all the way up to CNY 7,999 ($1,238). First sales in China are scheduled for October 6.
The price of the MagicBook 16 starts at CNY 5,199 ($805), while the Pro will be available at a starting price of CNY 6,199 ($960). Both the notebooks are already available for purchase in China.
