Realme GT 2 with SD888, 120Hz display, 65W fast charging launches in India

Realme has introduced its new Android flagship Realme GT 2 in India. It is the same phone that made its Chinese debut earlier this year alongside the Realme GT 2 Pro. The phone is packed with Qualcomm's flagship processor, a high refresh rate display, a big battery, and superfast charging speeds. In fact, it is claimed to fully charge within just 33 minutes.

The Realme GT 2 sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED punch-hole display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It offers up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 1300 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage.

The phone has a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, a wide-angle sensor with a 119-degree field-of-view, and a macro sensor. There is a 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.5 aperture for taking selfies. The battery capacity is 5,000mAh and is supported by 65W fast charging. It will boot Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box.

As for the pricing, the Realme GT 2 will cost INR 34,999 (about $456) for the 8GB/128GB model and INR 38,999 (about $508) for the 12GB/256GB model. It will be sold in Paper White, Paper Green, and Steel Black color options. The phone will go on sale starting April 28th via online and offline partners.
