As Samsung showcased the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, it also took the opportunity to reveal the Galaxy Book 2 Go. It is a direct upgrade over the Galaxy Book Go from the last year. As the name suggests, it is a compact and lightweight notebook with the goal of delivering maximum performance.
The biggest change in the Galaxy Book 2 Go is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 chipset. It is claimed to deliver 40% faster CPU performance and 35% better GPU performance as compared to the predecessor. You will get Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6E with the new chipset but there is no 5G connectivity. It seems like Samsung will unveil the 5G variant sometime later this year.
The notebook sports a 14-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with a 180-degree hinge. The official details about the RAM capacity, storage space, and battery capacity have not been revealed yet. It has a thickness of 15.5mm and weighs about 1.44kg. The good thing is it is MIL-STD-810G rated for durability.
Samsung has claimed a battery life of up to 21 hours of video playback on a single charge. The Galaxy Book 2 Go will be sold exclusively via Samsung's website in France starting January 20, 2023. The pricing details have not been revealed yet.
